The National Information Processing Institute undertakes to make its website accessible under the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. The declaration of accessibility applies to the https://ai4ar.opi.org.pl website.

Website digital accessibility

The website partially complies with the Act on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities

  • not all pages contain headings,
  • not all buttons are properly described,
  • alternative texts for some pictures may be missing,
  • not all fields are properly described.
The website is being modified to make it more accessible. With enhancements introduced on a regular basis, the website accessibility will improve gradually.

The Declaration was made on 2022-10-20 on the basis of self-assessment of a public entity.

Any website availability issues should be reported to Rafał Jendrzejewski by email at dostepnosc@opi.org.pl or by phone on 512 014 561. Any requests to make inaccessible information accessible, as well as any complaints regarding inaccessibility should be submitted to the email address above.

All users have the right to request digital access to the website, the mobile application or any element thereof. They can also request that information is made available with the use of an alternative access method, such as reading out a document that is digitally inaccessible, describing the content of a video without audiodescription, etc. In his/her request, the requesting person should include his/her data, specify the website or the mobile application to which the request pertains, and to indicate the preferred contact method. If the requesting person requests that information be provided with the use of an alternative access method, he/she should additionally specify the preferred method of providing information.

The public entity shall fulfill the request as soon as possible but not later than within seven days as from the date of the request. Should meeting the said deadline prove impossible, the public entity shall, without delay, notify the requesting person when it will be possible to fulfill the request; the new deadline may not exceed two months as from the date of the request. If it is impracticable to ensure digital accessibility, the public entity may propose an alternative information access method.

If the entity refuses to fulfill the request to ensure accessibility or an alternative information access method, the requesting person will have the right to make a complaint.

Once the procedure specified above has been exhausted, the requesting person will also have the right to file a complaint with the Commissioner for Human Rights.

Each building can be accessed via two entrances. Guests should use the main entrance which can be accessed via steps or a wheelchair ramp. There are two parking places for the disabled people in front of the building. The reception desk is located opposite the front door. Other parts of the building are inaccessible without an electronic security pass. Wheelchair users can access only the corridor and the rooms on the ground floor. There is no elevator in the building. The disabled toilet is located on the ground floor. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed in all areas of the building.
